I officially passed the test, I can now drive alone.

Thank goodness for Tuesdays...

(P.S. I got a really nice comment on dj, I guess I do have good intuition sometimes...)

Wow.
I nearly had a heart attack- three times tonight!

I finally got to drive all the way to church and back... but on the way home.. i had a few... mishaps.

First I nearly ran into 3 kids in the parking lot.
Then I adjusted my mirror- in the middle of the street- while in motion- and ended up clear on the other side.
Then I got distracted by a house Dad was pointing out to me... and ran over the curb!

Well.. on the bright side, I'm still just a beginner, so hopefully it'll get better with time... I still have like 45 hours to go.. so I should be an EXPERT by then.... right?

Eep.. i think I'll just huddle up in a blanket and sing dirges in the dark for awhile.
Actually no. I just felt like saying that :P

WOW!!!!

...I had my first driving lesson today!!!

Dad took me to Quick Trip to air the tires, then had me change a tire.. and then we went to the parking lot of a VFW, and I took the wheel!

...wow is it weird... I never knew how tricky a steering wheel could be until today! And i nearly had a heart attack before screeching to a halt right in front of a fence...

But it's... it feels... liberating! like, I'm finally a real teen now, and not the kid I like to pretend I am.... It's kinda scary too.
