Guess how many hours I have to complete my 10 page Research paper complete with cover sheet, works cited, and copies of the 1st page of each source used?
THREE hours.well, a little bit more than that, but hush! tis a secret!
Yes ma'am I am a slacker! I've got 6 pages of a rough draft that haven't been touched since last Thursday in this very computer lab @ the campus in which I am taking this English class. Nothing done on the cover sheet, and I haven't even a clue what sources I shall be using. Say it with me now: P-R-O-C-R-A-S-T-I-N-A-T-O-R!!!
I wish I could say I'm having fun right now... I'm ashamed to say that deep down, i kinda am. It's a shameful feeling! But... I'm just a teeny bit proud that I can do something like this in a short amount of time... that will still pass as normal, and perhaps better than most people's assignments. But, since that pride is countered with the obvious fact that my homework would turn out MUCH better If i actually invested more time in it... I can't quite boast. Besides... it still bothers me that I keep on doing this stuff right before it's due! Grrr.
Part of the lesson last night @ The Core:
"Mommy, can you please pray that I get an A on my test tomorrow?"
"Well, honey, did you study?"
"No..."
